Type 5 Stoomchemische Integrator<\/h1>\n

Chemische integrators van type 5 zijn indicatoren die een vergelijkbaar resultaat geven als de biologische indicator en die in directe verhouding staan tot biologische sterfte. Dit product, dat in een verpakking wordt gebruikt tijdens stoomsterilisatie, bestaat uit een chemisch mengsel dat zich aan de acceptatiezijde bevindt als de sterilisatie succesvol is en aan de afkeurzijde als de sterilisatie mislukt. Deze inkt wordt vervolgens langzaam door de strip geabsorbeerd. Als de acceptatiegrens wordt overschreden, is de sterilisatie geslaagd.
