Biological indicators are test systems containing viable microorganisms providing a defined resistance to a specific sterilization process. A biological indicator provides information on whether necessary conditions were met to kill a specified number of microorganisms for a given sterilization process, providing a level of confidence in the process. Plasma Biological Indicator (4APBI) is specifically designed for the monitoring of Hydrogen Peroxide sterilization processes. The final readout should be made after 24hours of incubation at 60+/- 2 °C.

RELATED STANDARDS :4A Medical Plasma Biological Indicator is under the scope of ISO 11138 standard.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL :Store it in a dark place at temperatures between 15-30°C. , 35-60% relative
humidity. Do not freeze. Do not store these biological indicator near sterilizing
agents or other chemical products.
COMPOSITION: Each tube contains a population of Geobacillus sterothermophilus ATCC 7953
spores deposited on the inner surface of the plastic tube base. It also has a
growth indicator media of purple color contained in the glass ampule.
PACKAGING 100 pcs in box.
INTENDED USE :Biological Indicator is specifically designed for the monitoring of Hydrogen
Peroxide sterilization processes. If the sterilization process was not succesful, the
indicator media will change from purple to yellow after incubation at 60+/- 2 °C
, thus indicating the presence of live Geobacillus sterothermophilus spores.
Incubate the processed biological indicator and the indicator used as positive
control for a maximum of 24 hours at 60+/- 2 °C. A color change from purple to
yellow of the growth indicator media means a sterilization process failure has
occurred. If after 24hours there is no color change in the processed indicators , a
final negative result is made (the sterilization process was acceptable). The
positive control indicator should show a yellow color change for the results to be
valid.
OPERATION CONDITIONS: If the sterilization process was succesful, the indicator media will remain purple
after incubation.The final readout should be made after 24hours of incubation at
60+/- 2 °C.

PCD- Helix Load Control Test has a self adhesive indicator on the far end. The PCD test kit has a 1 m long hose, and the Helix test kit has a 1.5 m long hose. There are 100 indicators in each package. In this product used for load control, the adhesive indicator is placed at the far end of the test apparatus, steam inlet only can be at the beginning of the hose and it can reach the chemical indicator at the end of the hose by passing at a single point. If the chemical indicator color change is achieved despite the difficult conditions, it is an important reference for the sterilization process in that load and should be recorded as a record for the successful sterilization of the load.
